Cancel a payment being processed ( Upwork to Bank )

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to cancel a payment while it is being processed ? I had totally forgotten that the upwork payment to my bank was scheduled, which I didn't want in the first place. I have just received the notification.  Is there any way to cancel it and keep the money in upwork ?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I would like to clarify that it is not possible to cancel the withdrawal. If your withdrawal fails and the funds are returned to your Upwork account, we will email you as soon as possible.
