Client payment method not Verified

After sending the client a job offer, I accept the offer without looking. After accepting, I see that the client's payment method has not been verified.

what should I do?
please help urgently.

Tell the client you'll start work as soon as the client's payment method is verified by Upwork, as Upwork recommends.


Verification has only taken a couple of workdays, in my limited experience, so if you decide to start work for the client while you wait for verification, do not send any portion of that work to the client before verification is complete if you don't want to take the chance of not getting paid.
