Just had a horrible experience with a client who basically took two versions of my work, requested refund while still even admitting taking my work and after all of that tanking my success score.
We really need some freelancer protection here (obviouskly with proof).
I take it very personal when someone is not happy with my work and even gladly work off the lock additional hours until it's perfect, but this was just beyind disrespectful and it hugely lowered my chances in earning.
I don't even know how to proceed from here, since I do concentrate on long term clients, so I don't have a lot of ratings, so each of them are important to me. And the ones I got in the past were beyond satisfies.

AM,
Sorry to hear of your bad experience.
If, however, you provided cotractual work and were then paid for it-
1. Do NOT under any circumstances agree to any refund.
2. DO file a dispute asap.
3. DO track and follow up on your dispute case with records of work delivered.
Your dispute may go your way or it may not but if you provided/delivered work which the client accepted and then paid for, your dispute case is strong.
Best of luck,
wb
