Please i have issue i did a project for client and he paid and the project successfully done but he forgot to close the project and it was my first two tasks in Upwork so i was don't the rules that the client should close the project so the project still open for about 2 years and may affect with negative in my account and when i talked to the client he said that he forgot the id and password and he removed the application so please send him Email with id and password if he didn't respond please close the project as soon as possible (it is actually two milestone with the same client) Thanks

There is no rule the client must close a contract. It's preferred, because their feedback is what helps build one's reputation on Upwork.

Having contracts open on one's account doesn't affect JSS or reviews. You can just close these contracts when you want, especially since they are from two years ago.
