Dispute status

Hello i didn't received any response from the mediation specialist. I need to know the status of my dispute on contract ID: 21974602.

 

They told me on Sunday to wait 2-3 business days. But today its Saturday and i didn't received any message or email from the mediation team. I waited for 6 days since the dispute was created, and i don't know how is my dispute going.

 

Please, i'm looking forward to receive any information about my dispute.

The dispute request ID is: 25622032

 

I hope you can help me or contact mediation team.

At any rate, this is the user forum, not your shortcut to getting a response from the dispute team. To get a response from the dispute team, ask the dispute team...

SERIUSLY?

IF YOU ARE MAKING FUN OF THIS, **Edited for Community Guidelines**. ¿Because i had 1 or 2 dispute before that means that i'm a troublemaker or something? Is not my fault that some clients are unresponsive and 0 cooperative with the projects. 

 

I only need some moderator that can contact mediation team, please. Dispute team didn't contacted me back since sunday.

I am not "making fun of it" - I am amazed how you manage to get into 3 disputes in a few months...

Petra was askng a legitimate question. She wasn't making fun of you.

 

Setting aside your personal situation and speaking generally:

It is not Upwork's intention that freelancers get into disputes. Ever.

 

The dispute and arbitration functions within the overall Upwork system are safety valves for when things go very wrong. They are not part of the normal Upwork process and Upwork would prefer if these functions were never used.

 

I have been an Upwork freelancer since 2014 and I have never had a dispute, despite finishing over 200 jobs and over 3500 hours.

 

If a freelancer (not referring to you, but only to other people) is part of disputes frequently, then there may be some additional techniques or strategies that they could implement in order to avoid these situations. It is better to be proactive in how one sets up contracts, so that disputes can be avoided. And it is better to work things out directly with a client rather than force things to go to third parties such as Upwork or an arbitrator.
