For spending less connects, should I choose big jobs or small one?

Hi,

Usually connect bidding starts with 30-50 connects for good job.

And 20-50 proposals per offer. So, chances of getting selected is less than 5%.

If we send 20 proposals average costing around $100 connects.

I found It's hard to survive with small offers.

Please suggest how I can get more jobs without spending much for connects?

Should I apply for just big offers with more connects - rarely or small offers with less connects - frequently?
