Hello. I am working for a client who hires me for an hour. But, In the offer he sets the time limit 40 hours per week. But the work is only for 1 hour. So if i have done the work in an hour , after weekend would i get the payment for the 1 hour or should i track the whole 40 hours time ?
If you have a better answer, please help me.
If you don't understand what i want to explain , let me know.
Thank you

The client did not "set" the maximum to 40 hours.
That is the DEFAULT setting. He just left it alone.
The client does not want you to work for 40 hours.
He is glad that the work only took you 1 hour.
You will be paid for 1 hour, because you worked for 1 hour.
You are not supposed to "track" 40 hours.

Yes.

Why would you charge him 40 hours of time when you only worked 1 hour?
From what you say, the 40 hours means that is the maximum time the client wants you to work in a week. Since you got done in 1 hour, bill 1 hour.

Okay. As you say, If i work for 1 hour, i will be paid for enough , does not matter how much time is set like 20 hours/week, or 30hours/week or even 40hours/week. Thank you for your answer.
