How can I verify the work I have done on upwork when applying for jobs outside of upwork?

You can provide the link to your profile, in addition to that, there is an option to download the official "Certificate of Earnings" from Upwork.

 

You can download the certificate of earnings from Reports->Certificate of Earnings
