How does the client reads connects bidding?

Hi all

When a freelancer decides not to bid as much or more connects for a job than the others bids, how is it perceived by a client? does this means that the freelancer is not interested enough, or is it because he spent all his connects and can't afford to buy  more?

On 3 jobs this week only I have seen 50 connects bids for jobs I found interesting and now I wonder if I need to buy more and more connects to keep up or just bid what is nessecary.

Those connects bidding is frankly annoying, you can do better Upwork ...

I never playing this stupid games and hired when my knowledge needed. Without boosting. Of course you can waste money but no guarantee that you will be hired. Boosting guaranee only one: you will waste money for sure. In any case no real works here within last half year. So you can waste and waste without limits.

Pascal,

Most clients want the BEST value - period. They could care less about bidders in the first four positions unless they are a good value.
