Is it a good idea to onboard direct client to Upwork or Not? Please Comment

"Hello, this is Hafiz Abrar Ahmed, an SEO Expert with 5 years of experience in the field. I specialize in promoting businesses online directly and currently work with a dry cleaners  company in Dubai. I'm considering onboarding clients through Upwork and would appreciate expert guidance based on personal experiences. Is it a good decision?

Hi Hafiz,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Are you interested in bringing your client to Upwork? If so, with Direct Contracts, you can create and send contract proposals to your clients who aren't on Upwork. Just like your other contracts on Upwork, you can have a fixed-price or hourly contract, and your client will deposit project funds in escrow before the contract starts. When you've completed work on a fixed-price contract, you'll request payment. We'll release fixed-price funds to you after the client accepts your request. For hours you work on an hourly contract, you will need to enter the hours manually instead of using the Time Tracker. We'll bill the client weekly on Mondays and release funds to you on Fridays after your client has had a chance to review your hours.
