My customer placed an order through the project catalogue. I submitted and completed the work before paused by Upwork.
My customer does not respond after paused. I think i wasted my time.
Wasn't his payment in escrow?
What will i do?

I can confirm that the contract is not paused. You may want to check this directly with the client, as it appears that they rejected the submitted milestone. Kindly reach out to the client directly to get this resolved.
