My job application was accepted but later removed from the posting.

I applied for a job yesterday and was accepted the same day. The job was visible in the proposals tab yesterday. For details, I talked to the employer via telegram and he explained the details and the job to me. When I look today, the accepted job does not appear in the Proposals tab. Should I trust this employer? I'm new to Upwork and maybe my first job is something normal but I wanted to ask

You should not communicate with anyone outside of the Upwork platform. Telegram is one of the most popular scam. Do not allow anyone to lure you off the platform. 

I suggest you spend some time familiarising yourself with the resources that are available on the platform. They guide your operations on Upwork.
