A client sent a document today, and when I tried to open it, I got this message: The file you’re trying to download contains a blocked extension, and could be a risk to your computer.
Please use caution if you choose to continue.
I am planning to ask her to send it in another form. But we have been sending files back and forth with no problem until now, and I was wondering if others have gotten this message too.

Was the message a modal pop-up from Upwork itself or was it from your browser / operating system? If it was the latter, you could look into your downloads settings or disable your OS security services temporarily.
