Payment and taxes

Good morning,

A Spanish company is requesting my services as an English tutor through this application. I wonder if you could explain what are the policies for payment and how is payment done, especially whether I should pay taxes in Uruguay.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Andrea,

Could you please click on my name and send me a PM with more information about the job you are referring to? I will be sure to look into your report and escalate it accordingly.

Thank you for your quick response.

I would work for **Edited for Community Guidelines**
, an online platform from Madrid to help
students of English improve their speaking skills. They told me I would be
paid $8 per hour of training session through your app, sent me all the
information and asked me to find out with you before accepting about
payment and taxes in my country, Uruguay.

I really need to get this information as soon as possible.
Thanks you very much indeed.

Warm regards,

Hi Andrea,

From what you mentioned, I'd say this is an hourly contract. Please, be sure to check this help article for more information on how these types of contracts work and how would you get paid. Also, feel free to check here to learn more about the available payment methods. You may also want to check the resources in this post to help you get started.

As far as the taxes in your country is concerned, I'd suggest that you consult a local tax advisor for more information on this.

Thank you.
