Profile Picture Issue

I keep getting an "unable to get proper response from server" message when attempting to upload new profile picture

I don't know about your error message, but you need to get a better profile picture. There is far too much background, and you are wearing sunglasses; I don't think Upwork will approve it.   The client doesn't care if you are having a lovely day; they want to see your face. 

Have someone take the photo, don't use a selfie. Use a blank background. The client doesn't care what you look like; they just want to see a face and have that connection to your application.
