Sorry to hear that you're facing challenges in your career despite your qualifications and successful work. It can be frustrating when you don't receive invitations or opportunities that you believe you deserve. Here are a few suggestions to help you improve your situation:

  1. Network: Building a professional network is crucial in many fields, including research and writing. Attend conferences, webinars, and networking events related to your area of expertise. Connect with professionals on LinkedIn and engage in meaningful discussions to expand your network.

  2. Online Presence: Ensure your online presence is strong. Update your LinkedIn profile with your latest achievements and showcase your expertise in your field. Consider creating a personal website or blog to showcase your work and insights.

  3. Cold Outreach: Don't hesitate to reach out to potential collaborators, employers, or organizations directly. Craft personalized emails or messages highlighting your skills and expressing your interest in working together.

  4. Freelancing: If you're struggling to find full-time opportunities, consider freelancing or consulting. Many organizations hire freelance writers and researchers for specific projects. Websites like Upwork and Fiverr can be good platforms to start.

  5. Skill Enhancement: Continuously improve your skills and stay updated with the latest trends in your field. Consider taking courses or certifications that can add value to your profile.

  6. Resume and Cover Letter: Ensure your resume and cover letter are well-crafted and tailored to each job application. Highlight your achievements and skills that are relevant to the specific role.

  7. Seek Feedback: Reach out to mentors, professors, or colleagues for feedback on your work and your approach to job applications. Constructive feedback can help you make necessary improvements.

  8. Persistence: Job hunting can be a challenging and sometimes lengthy process. Don't get discouraged by rejections. Keep applying and refining your approach.

  9. Volunteer or Intern: Sometimes, gaining experience through volunteer work or internships can open doors to paid opportunities later on.

  10. Professional Organizations: Join professional organizations related to your field. These groups often have job boards and networking events that can help you connect with potential employers.

Remember that the job market can be competitive, and it may take some time to find the right opportunity. Stay persistent, stay positive, and keep working on your professional development. Over time, your efforts should lead to invitations and opportunities that align with your qualifications and goals.
