Submitted work on wrong milestone

I have 2 projects with a client and have submitted work on the wrong milestone. How do I rectify this? I have resubmitted on the correct one but the other project is in review and I haven't started the work.

Thank you for reaching out. It would be best to communicate this with your client. They can ask for revision or not approve the work you submitted for the wrong milestone. Then you can submit the work on the correct milestone. This is to avoid any confusion from the client's end.

Thanks I have asked the client, but they are not sure what to do. If they do not approve the milestone how does this affect my submitting the work for that milestone when it is completed, the due date is not for a few weeks?
