Suspicious Client Activity

Hello, 

I am new to Upwork. After submitting a few proposals last night I was contacted via messages who seemed interested in my proposal. He quickly wanted to take things off Upwork's site, and not knowing better I gave it to him. It all sounded quite fishy and so I read back up on all of Upwork's terms and conditions and advised that we keep our communication strictly to Upwork messages until a contract was written and accepted for our safety. I have not heard back from him and would like to report the account immediately.

This is what you do:

Go to the job listing page.

Click on the "Flag as inappropriate" link button in the top right corner of the page or under the Three Dots icon. Report them for asking to communicate off-platform prior to having a contract.

Those people are scammers, or at the very least they need someone at Upwork to tell them how to do this the right way. Probably scammers.
