Tax for Turkey

Hi,

Does Upwork itself pay some kind of tax in Turkey? Does it have a limited or any type of company running in Turkey? I'm asking because it is important while I'm paying some taxes here in Turkey. Thanks for your reply in advance!

Hi Tayfun,

I am sorry for the late response. I would like to clarify that Upwork doesn’t assess any taxes on fees paid or payments received by users in Turkey.

Please consult with a local tax advisor about the best way to report Upwork to local tax authorities.
