Tax return in US

Hi.
I was wondering if as not US person I will have to fill in tax papers in US - the 1040 NR form next year? I was working in US last year and even as non resident I had to do it. How does it look like here?

Hi Ewelina,

You need to check with your local tax advisor for more information on this.

Thank you.

Ewelina S,

Only a professional tax advisor can tell you for sure, but if you are not a US citizen and are not located in the US when you receive payments from a US person or company, you do not owe income taxes to the US government.

If you were located in the US during any part of a calendar year, you may owe US taxes on those earnings, regardless who was paying you or where they were located.
