Upgrade Membership connects reduced

I upgraded from Freelancer basic ( 2 connects were left with me ) to Freelancer Plus ( having 80 connects as per the plan), Paid 15$ and after upgrade now I have 74 connects. It should be 82 .. or at least 80, for which I paid for.

Why connects were reduced like this on upgrade and payment?

Because they are pro-rated depending when in the billing cycle you upgrade.

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you choose to upgrade your account from Basic to Plus, your free Connects will be prorated. This means that we'll allocate them based on time, or specifically, on how many days have already passed during your billing cycle. By prorating free Connects, we can be sure that you always get a fair amount, no matter when you make changes to your plan.
