Upwork should remind us before ending a contract

Hello,

 

"Your contract [...] has been ended by inactivity."

My client was struggling with providing payments, and had other problems. I had to accomodate that and wait for her. She had no "tech-skills" and couldn't handle upwork without help from her son.

Now the contract "ended for inactivity", even though we are still working on it! No reminders, no notifications, just ends all of a sudden. And now she has to go through the whole creation process again (given that her son visits her soon...).

 

- Please send a 1-week reminder notification to both Freelancers and Clients informing them of the coming deadline.

- Please include in the notification a link/steps to extend the deadline.

- Please allow the client to confirm/decline the contract end. i.e. if the contract was ended by mistake, the client can revert that in one click.
