How can I set up an automatic payout per week?

Hi Artem,

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you would like to be paid on a certain schedule without having to request a withdrawal each time, you can set up an automatic payment schedule. We added this option to make getting paid more convenient for you, freeing you up to pursue and perform excellent work. To update or change your schedule, go to Settings > Get Paid.

Payment schedule options:

• Quarterly (last Monday of each quarter)
  
• Monthly (last Wednesday of each month)
  
• Twice per month (1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month)
  
• Weekly (every Wednesday)

Upwork supports the use of automated weekly payments, also known as retainers.

When a client creates an hourly contract, the client can click into the advanced options screen, and set up an automated weekly payout.

For example, a client hired "Karol" to manage his company's social medial accounts. The client set up an automated weekly payment of $400. This money is paid to Karol each week, in addition to the money she earns from the time that she logs.
