Could you please try adding your billing method first? Use this link to see the options available to you and add one of those. Afterwards, you should be able to purchase Connects by following the instructions shared in this help article.

Hey, I am trying to connect my friend visa card to buy connect. I did not have my own visa card yet. I have requested my bank to issue my visa card but it takes some time to process the request. So I have read your article and find that we use a card of another person(family or friend) for buying connections but we have to verify the identity. But I did not get the link where I verified the identity of first by sending his national card image.Can you help me with how to verify the payment method to buy connect?

It looks that you were able to add the card to your account successfully. If any issues arise, Upwork team will notify you directly. The charge on the credit card keeps getting declined. Please make sure the card is set up to make international payments and has sufficient funds on it to complete the funding.

I have attached 3 billing methods. 2 debit cards and 1 PayPal account. But still unable to upgrade my membership and every time I got his message:

Thank you for your replies. I think the current provisions limit the opportunity to find work/work on Upwork for many other freelancers like me where we can't even use PayPal services.
Therefore, I would like to request to the management to allow members to use prepaid virtual cards to buy connects at least.
