I have some projects which are idle and I lost my jss from 86% to 77% last week. so my question is, do idle projects affect jss negatively?

No, they don't. If your JSS has dropped, it's due to bad private feedback and/or positive reviews becoming too old to count towards your JSS. But if you have some idle jobs, you can ask clients to close them, and if they give you good reviews then it'll help to bring your JSS up again.

Thanks for your reply. There was no bad feedback. those clients are not much responsive and don't do much business on Upwork. so it can be a difficult task for me to get feedback from them.
