free connects

Fellow freelancers, let's ask Upwork to enable some free connects!

Since connects became costly, we submit less proposal that equals less employment. Upwork please consider that many clients are on a low budget, big amount of connects are required for hourly jobs, fixed priced jobs do not require fair amount either, example: 6$ worth job requires 2 connects. Sometimes we spend connects but no one ever gets hired, client does not care to close the job either. All this makes me as a freelancer defenseless. 

Please stop making freelancers waste money

Both the connects and Upwork charges on the project (20$ on 100$) are very costly.

So, we all (freelancers) should say Upwork to reduce the price for connects and also to increase free connects up to 30 at least. After then, we can work on Upwork with comfort and satisfaction.

if we don't try something it just gets worse and we have to migrate on other freelance sites

Off you go then. There are way too many freelancers on Upwork, and literally thousands trying desperately to get in for every one who "migrates to other freelance sites"

I am a freelancer since Elance time, and Elance was way better. 

First of all, when job was awarded it could no longer accept proposals, there were free connects, project search was also better and clients were more reasonable payers.
