i met a demanding client

I met a very demanding client. He seems to think i m a full time employee for him. He sometimes called  me at 5, or 9 pm or saturaday 4pm. Each time he expect me to finish the job in 1 -3 hours after the phone call. Am i supposed to be available to the client immediately as a freelances. Any feed back is welcome.

As a freelancer, you control your schedule. You need to talk with your client and agree on availability time and turnaround time expectations.

Seems to me you should raise your fees. Unlimited availability comes with a price tag (especially if you have to push other job for this client's express demands). I have clients I am available for 24/7, but they pay a higher fee than "ordinary" clients.
