If a client wants to increase the hourly rate of his hired freelancer, can he increase it or can he post the job again and invite that freelancer?

Hi, my client increased my hourly rate to $200 for the purpose of a big project. My previous rate was $15/hr. I tried to add 1 hour time to see the rate but it still reflects as $15. What should I do?
