To get invited, clients have to find your profile on the first few pages of the search results. There are literally many, many tens of thousands of freelancers in your categors, and you have not done any jobs, have no feedback etc.

Chances of a client randomly stumbling upon your profile are slim. 

If you want to win contracts, you'll have to buy connects. Probably a lot of them initially.
