Client ending a contract a job that requires no more than 30 minutes

Hi, today I got my first contact and it was just a job for answering one survey that will not take more than 30 minutes. I didn't know that Upwork has this time tracking device and I ended it at 20 mins. Will I still get the payment for the 20 minutes knowing that my hourly rate is 3 dollars minus the Upwork tax? I know it's only 1 dollar but I want to know if I'll get it so I can be familiar with how contracts and time tracking works. Thanks!

Don't worry about this.

You will get paid for 20 minutes of work if that is how much time you logged. It does not matter that a 30 minute time limit was discussed.
