Client says theyprovide software

Hi! I'm new to Upwork. I received a message for a virtual assistant job. They did not ask for money. They stated how much they would pay, asked to reach out to their team if interested. However, they also said they would provide the software to do the job.....real estate listings. Is this common? Is this a scam?  I want to be sure before I respond. Thank You. Anita

You cannot "reach team" without contract. It is rules violation. Look like scam.

About sw, it is related to job specific. It may be legal sw or virus as well.

Most of the "real estate" llistings jobs are scams, anyway, because the client is also scamming the potential buyers/ renters to pay $$ for real estate that is not owned/ managed by the client. They leave the freelancer open to some serious legal problems.
