Help with a project that I haven't gotten paid.

Hello, 

I started a contract with someone for a certificate translation. It was hourly country and I worked 1 hour on it and I added 1 hour to my contract which was 4.00. They told me to end the contract once I added the work hour. I did, but I haven't gotten paid the 4.00$ and I'd like to know how to properly get my payment because in my reports, it appears as I haven't done any work or gotten any payment from that client. The client says that UpWork pays it automatically but it that was true, it would show up at least as a pending payment.
