I have received an invitation to interview for a data entry task, the pay seems generous.

However in the invitation description the client has asked to add the hiring manager on Google hangouts, which is where the interview will take place. Isn't the interview meant to take place/be discussed on Upwork? I have asked the client for further information about the role. Also, the way the description has been written does not seem to be 100% trustworthy.  Am I just being paranoid or has anyone experienced this before?

One of the oldest scams on the net, first encountered it about 12 yeards ago. They'll be asking to send you a fake check for buying things...
