My proposals are not getting accepted.

I have almost finished using up my 200 connects, but I haven't had any luck with getting any projects. I have ensured that my profile is complete with 100% information, and I hope that providing a bit more information will help an expert guide me through this situation.

I first created my account in 2018, but I have not actively looked for any projects or sent any proposals as I was involved in a full-time job. However, I started actively searching for projects in April 2022, and it feels like all my proposals, along with my connects, are not leading to any positive outcomes. I did manage to get a project in August, but the payment was very little to nothing. Unfortunately, this was the only project I managed to secure.

I'm wondering if the gap between creating my profile and starting to work actively on the platform is causing my proposals to be ignored.
