Need help about “end contract”

Hello,

I have done couple of jobs. After finishing both the jobs, clients approved the payment. I have send the files in message box, not through the submit option in contract. But both clients were satisfied and released payment. As I'm new here and I think my clients were also new. So told them to end the contract and they did it and left very good review about my work. Today I heard someone said ending contract has a negative impact on jss. Now in my case we thought ending the contract is the way to finish the job. Now I'm really confused. After client release the payment from escrow if they end the contract with good review, is it going to have a bad impact on my jss?

Well, that someone, I would recommend you to ignore their words as, as far as I know, It won't do any harm but good if the client is shutting the job with good reviews.
