Hello!! I am new to upwork. I am looking to be hired for jobs within Customer Service however I am perplexed on how it works. If I am hired to answer calls/emails are there certain software programs that I am required to buy or will the client provide the equipment? Outside of a computer/phone/internet are there basic software I should have prior to accepting a job?
You'll need to discuss it with each client during the interview. Most clients are looking for freelancers who already have all the necessary tools and knowledge needed to work on the project.
