Outside Upwork Client

Hello, I have completed a job outside the Upwork and now my client wants to make payment. I cannot send him direct contract because he is already on Upwork. So I suggested him to contact me on through Upwork. I have already submitted the work outside so what should I do to receive the payment of that work through Upwork?

The client has to hire you through Upwork. All he has to do is go to your profile and with his client account and click on "Hire"
