I want to understand how the payment process works for people outside the US?

Hi Mauricio, 

You should be able to check which payment methods are available on the site by visiting this help article. I would like to take note the options will be dependent on your location. If you want to check which payment method is available to you, you can go to your Settings page > Get Paid button > then click on the Add method button to know which options are available to you.
