Hello there, my name is João.

I have been registered in Upwork for almost two weeks now and recently made an update on my profile, after a Webinar, courtesy of UpWork, in which the orator gave us some tips on presenting our profile.

She also told us to hit up the community forums for HONEST and RAW opinions so that's what I came here for, be as harsh as you want.

Just to clarify my intentions I signed up to this platform looking to do any kind of translation, even the more mundane and I happen to have a background in Science that also gives me ease in working with more specific topics in that general area of expertise.

The recent COVID-19 outbreak gave plenty of free time at home and since I consider myself to have good English skills I decided to try my luck at translation to earn a few bucks and maybe a career in the future depending on how things turn out.
