I would like to join Upwork as an editor and proofreader. Can I use testimonials from non-Upwork clients on my Profile page? Also, can I include the number of hours I've worked for non-Upwork clients on my Profile page?

Yes to both questions although I doubt many clients would pay attention to how many hours you worked off platform.

You’re welcome. The way to fix 0 hours is to do an hourly job. I have over 1000 hours at Upwork but did many fixed price jobs before doing my first hourly so patience is worth cultivating when you start out. Good luck!
