Regarding the Connects

Previously, whenever I placed a bid on any project and that project either got assigned to me or someone else, or if the post was removed, Upwork used to reverse the connects used for that bid. But now, this doesn't happen in any case. Why?

Connects are only returned if a client cancels a project before a contract is made (this doesn't apply to expired job posts) or if a project's post is removed because we believe it violates our Terms of Service. You may visit the "Returned Connects" section of this article to learn more.
