Voice work beginner equipment

Hello All!

Can anyone tell me a good microphone for someone who is just starting out in voicework? I don't want to invest a lot just yet, but I do want it to sound decent and warm. I am looking specifically for something that blocks out background noise as much as possible. I have heard a Blue Yeti is not best for this. If anyone on here gets paid for voicework and can offer advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB is very affordable and semi-professional if you want to try yourself in the field. Just make sure you have a pop-filter and a quite non-echoing place to record.
