When will the client hire me? How?

I am new here, and submitted a proposal to a client. She says she is very happy with me and is interested in me doing the work. How will I change from just a proposal to an active job?I've basically written what she needs already, but have not sent because I'm not technically hired yet. I have nothing in "My Jobs"

The client needs to send you an offer of an hourly or fixed rate contract for you to accept. If it's a fixed rate contract, the milestone for the work you want to submit must be funded. Then you do the work and submit it. If hourly, you would normally track your time as you work. Since that wasn't done,  you'll input hours manually (these aren't protected, by the way, so usually using the Tracker is best).

Hi Melodie,

Sarah is correct. You may also want to check the resources we have compiled here to help you as a new freelancer.
