Starting March 15, freelancers can choose their notification settings for Connects-related emails. With this release, freelancers have greater control over how they’re notified of Connects updates.
Freelancers now have the option to select Unsubscribe on a Connects email, which links directly to Notification Settings in their Upwork profile. In Notification Settings, freelancers can adjust their Connects email notifications with two new selections under the Miscellaneous category:
- I have Connects expiring soon
- I have purchased or received Connects
“We've heard freelancers express frustrations surrounding the inability to choose their own notification settings regarding Connects emails. We're excited to announce that freelancers will now be able to opt out of Connects email notifications,” shares Product Manager Dan F.
