Cancelled Project But Was Still Charged

I cancelled a project but was still charged $940. Freelancer said they did not recieve payment. So who was paid the amount that was charged?

I took a closer look at your Transaction History and confirmed that the amount you're referring to has been refunded to the billing method initially used for the payment. Please see this screenshot for your reference. 

Please let us know if the refunded amount hasn't been reflected in your account after eight business days, and we'll assist you in initiating a trace.
