Cannot log in to the Upwork Desktop App

For the past weeks, I have been trying to access the Desktop App and it always appears the same message: "An unknown error has occurred".  I use the same credentials to access via browser and I have no problem there. Does anyone know what can I do? The support page redirects me to more articles that don't solve my problem.
