Check for double accout ?

Hi,

I started freelancing on Upwork 1 year ago and I commited to Upwork FULL TIME recently.

I rembembered that I explored Upwork before this and I am not 100% sure but I think that I created account on my name using some old e-mail before I created this one.

Recently I red through some posts and people are getting banned without notice and after a long period of time when Upwork discovers some old account by their name, even if they never used it.

Is there some mechanic to check this and proof myself from getting banned ?

If there's a way to retrieve that account and delete it, you should do it. And yes people are getting banned because of that.
