Client Created a contract by mistake, Then ended

A client has recently hired me; I completed the contract. Then I got another contract offer from the same client, and I accepted it (I am new to Upwork and was not sure what to do, so I accepted). The client said I did it by mistake, and later on, he ended the contract. I have not worked on it (0 hours) since he was saying that it was a mistake. I contacted the Support system but have not got any response yet, so I thought I should post it here. What's the way forward? Will it affect my profile in any aspect, and if it does, what's the way out?

Hi Ghulam,

 

Thank you for your message. If there is no hour logged or payment made by the Client on the contract then this will not affect your profile in any way.
