I can't accept an offer

When I try and accept an offer, it is giving me this error message: "It seems like we ran into an unexpected problem with this offer. Please ask the client to withdraw it and create a new one, or contact Upwork support."

The problem is the system also won't let me respond to the clients message, or chat with them in any way. Can you please help?
