Offer Stuck In The System

Hello,

I have this offer that is old and stuck in the system. Every time I log into Upwork it pops up. Neither I nor the person who made the offer can delete it.

 

Sceenshots of what occures are below. Does anyoneknow how to get rid of it and solve the problem?

You need to go to https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us  and open a ticket (or better yet, speak to an AGENT)  for that because that definitely looks like a BUG - a serious system bug.  Offers are suppose to 'expire' after a certain amount of time if you do nothing with them.  The fact that it's just been sitting there for almost a year and can't be removed means the Upwork system has a great big ol' bug in it and has gotten jammed up.  I think one of their programmers would have to go into the system and forcefully remove it.  I don't think you'll be able to fix this issue on your own.

 

After you go to https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us, click 'I'm a Freelancer', then 'Get Support' at the bottom, when the window opens, just keep typing 'speak to a representative' in the chat box so you can get to a live person and get around that silly 'bot' (You're Top Rated, so one of the PERKS of that is that you get to speak to a LIVE person and explain the issue instead of just creating a 'ticket' that gets left in some waste basket.)   Good luck.

Here are some clearer instructions on how to get to the LIVE support on https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us 

 

After you're in 'Get Support':

 

immediately type "speak to a representative"


Select: "Yes, I need additional support"


(a bunch of chat bot messages scroll by)


Select : "Yes, Only a freelancer account"

 

Options show up: Call us on the phone , Chat with an agent, Creat a ticket

 

This should prevent you from having to waste 10-20 minutes arguing with a 'bot' that won't understand your problem
